Holy Week & Eastertide

Holy Week and Easter are a busy time at St. John's.

The story of the last supper and washing of feet takes place on Maundy Thursday.  Christ's crucifixion and death are recalled on Good Friday.  The Great Vigil of Easter, the most important service of the church year when Christ's resurrection is first proclaimed, takes place on Saturday night.  And of course on Easter Day the celebration continues for fifty days--lasting until Pentecost.
