Adult Spiritual Formation
Recent Formation Programs:
Throughout the Summer of 2025, we featured a different type of prayer practice each week in our Summer of Sabbath series. Parishioners were invited to try new practices at home, such as the Anglican Rosary, Praying in Color, Finger Labyrinths, and Lectio Divina.
During Lent 2025, we focused on Creation Care through two programs. In Tell Me the Truth About Nature, we listened to a Montessori-style inspired story. Each story reminded us of God's Dream for creation, reflected on how we have strayed from that dream, and invited us to wonder together about how we can return to it.
In the Fall of 2025, we gathered for a workshop on printmaking led by Libby Clarke. Using recycled materials, we experimented with new ways to express those holy moments that are often beyond words.
In Advent 2026, we met at the Community of St. John Baptist for an overnight retreat alongside Interweave. We reflected on Mary as the God-bearer and how we too carry God's image into the world.
During Lent 2026, we explored the types of prayer in the Book of Common Prayer and discussed ways we can lift up the hopes and concerns of our particular community in worship.
