Caring Ministries
At St. John’s, we believe no one should face life’s challenges alone. We are here for each other in both practical and emotional ways.
For Emotional and Spiritual Support: If you or someone you know is struggling emotionally or spiritually, Stephen Ministry is available. Our trained Stephen Ministers offer confidential, one-on-one care through listening, prayer, and support. If you would like to connect with a Stephen Minister or are interested in being trained as a Stephen Minister, please contact our Parish Office to get in touch with the Stephen Leaders.
For Practical Needs: Our Mutual Care Ministry offers help and support for members of our community and those they care for.
We can assist with:
Meals and transportation
Child or elder care
Home, hospital, or nursing-home visits
Light household tasks or errands
Prayer support and encouragement
To inquire about support for yourself or someone you know, please contact our Priest. There is no shame in asking for help — we all need care at times. Confidential support is always available through our priest and Mutual Care Ministry. Your comfort and well-being are our joy.
